Let's get down to stuff you really want to know...
What are you most looking forward to in your role?
I'm looking forward to the new and exciting challenges the business is going to present, whilst learning and growing a new skill set personally. I’m excited to work with Dreamscape to grow the business in all areas.
What are the challenges you face on a day-to-day basis?
Challenges currently would have to be balancing home life around work life with being a single mum, along with getting to know the business inside out, systems, processes etc so I can deliver to the best of my ability.
How do you relax after a hard day of work?
I relax after work by spending quality time with my family, whether it's watching a movie, going for a bike ride or going swimming... just something fun to be able to switch off from the day's events.
What are some small things that make your day better?
There are a few good things that can make my day better, such as having a productive day and reaching all the day's targets. Having good processes which work well make the day flow smoothly, along with a well-balanced workload.
How long have you been in the finance industry?
I've been in the finance industry 16 years, starting out as a purchase ledger clerk working my way up to Accounts Assistance moving to an Office and Finance Manager then on to my current position as a Finance and Operations Manager.
What’s your greatest achievement at work?
That would have to be achieving my accountancy qualification and progressing to a manager whilst working full time.
What inspires you?
The desire to always improve, along with the buzz of achievement and progress in work and my home life, with the aim of making my family and friends proud of the person I am.
What’s the most interesting thing about you that we wouldn’t learn from your CV?
Hmmm, there isn't an awful lot interesting about me haha... I'm not like most girls, I like motorbikes and car racing and I'm currently learning to ride a motorbike, I also love Theme Parks.
